Sibley East Schools

Early Childhood/Family Education, Preschool, Kindergarten                                                                The Sibley East School District maintains a state of the art early years education facility in Arlington.

Early Grades Site in Arlington
The Sibley East Schools maintains early grades specialty schools for grades 1-4 in both Arlington and nearby Gaylord.

Upper Elementary Grade Site
Grades 5 and 6 are served in the remodeled specialty site in Gaylord.

Sibley East Junior High School
The Sibley East Junior High School is also in Gaylord, seven minutes west of Arlington.

Sibley East High School  Sibley East Senior High School is located in Arlington.

Extensive Extracurriculars are offered beginning in grade seven. The history of the two school districts indicates a pattern of success in many of the arts and in athletics. One or the other of the previous high schools, Arlington-Green Isle or Gaylord, produced state champions or competitors in the following areas: dramatics, declamation, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, track, and wrestling. Since the recent pairing Sibley East has been the state baseball champion twice, placed third in state basketball, placed individuals in state speech competition, and has produced a state individual champion in track and field.

Community/Recreation Education
A broad Community Education/Recreation program for all ages complements the ECFE-grade 12 public school program. Various activities such as indoor aquatics, aerobics, college and general interest courses, tours, etc.

Green Isle Community School

Green Isle Community School is a public elementary school located in Green Isle, MN. GICS is pre-K through 6th grade and offers before and after school care on-site. GICS has been a successful charter school for 7+ years. They pride themselves in their multi-age classrooms and project-based learning. Incredible student teacher ratios allow for students to be met at their level and really provide a welcoming and safe atmosphere.

St. Paul's Lutheran SchoolSt. Paul Lutheran School has served Arlington for over 130 years of Christ-centered education. Small class sizes, caring staff, traditional style, and computer technology integration makes St. Paul a benificial place to educate children ages PreK-8th grade.

The school has many extracurricular activities available in athletics and the arts.


St. Paul warmly welcomes students from families without a church home and those from other church bodies.
