Local COVID-19 vaccination clinics offered in June

Sibley County Public Health and Human Services has released dates for June COVID-19 Moderna vaccine clinics. All clinics are located at the Sibley County Service Center, 111 8th St., Gaylord. Pre-registration is required to guarantee your vaccine dose. Online registration can be found on the Sibley County website. Please bring your original vaccination card to your booster dose appointment.

Tuesday, June 7, 2022 – Moderna (18 and older)
8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Thursday, June 23, 2022 – Moderna (18 and older)
12:30 pm – 4:00 pm

Who is currently eligible for a COVID-19 booster shot?

Everyone 5 years and older who is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is eligible for a booster. Pfizer is currently the only COVID vaccine authorized for 5-17 year olds. This age group is eligible for a booster dose at least 5 months after receiving their initial vaccine series. All adults 18 and older that received a Johnson & Johnson vaccine should get a booster shot two months after their single dose. All adults 18 and older that received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine should get a booster shot 5 months after their initial series. Adults age 50 and over may also receive a second booster dose of either Pfizer or Moderna at least four months after their first booster dose.
