Asst. Deputy Clerk Job Posting


The City of Arlington is currently accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Deputy Clerk.  The position works closely with the Deputy Clerk and is under supervision of the City Administrator. This positions general duties include:  assisting customers (via phone and in person) assisting the deputy clerk with multiple accounting duties, processing permits and licenses, maintaining the City’s social media, website and LED sign.  Additionally this position is responsible for all aspects of renting the Community Center. Minimum Requirements:  High School Graduate/GED equivalent. Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class “D” driver’s license and pass a background check. Desired Preference: an Associate’s degree in accounting and/or a minimum of two years of clerical experience. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Salary range is $14.52 to $18.48/hour plus full benefits.
