All EnergyStar qualified appliance rebates require the appropriate application competed in full, a copy of the dated sales receipt & the yellow energy guide tag/sticker that came with the appliance. Applications must be submitted within one year from the time of purchase.
Rebates are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can generally expect your rebate check within 4-6 weeks from time of submission, however Arlington is only allotted a certain amount in rebates each year. If the City’s allotment is fulfilled during the year, additional applications can still be submitted, but will generally be held until the following January when the next year’s allotment becomes available. We reserve the right to remove any program at any time.
** Due to changing EnergyStar criteria, it is possible that some appliance models in the store may have an EnergyStar tag, but are no longer on the current EnergyStar approved listing. Rebate applications for appliances that are not on the current list at time of purchase will not be honored. It is the applicant’s responsibility to verify an appliance’s status and that can be done by going to their website at http://energystar.gov and doing a product search.

Dishwashers : $ 50 Rebate

Refrigerators : $ 55 Rebate
EnergyStar Requirement : Full-size refrigerators must be 20% above the Federal standard; Criteria last changed Apr. 28, 2008
Clothes Washers : $ 100 Rebate
EnergyStar Requirements : Minimum Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 1.72 and a Maximum Water Factor of 8.0; Criteria last changed Jan. 1, 2007
Central Air Conditioners : $ 350 Rebate
EnergyStar Requirement : Split Systems = 14.5+ SEER rating
Single Package = 14+ SEER rating
Central A/C Tune-Up : $ 60 Rebate
Requirements : Must be performed by a licensed & insured heating/cooling contractor & meet minimum service requirements. (Apr.-Sept only)
