The City of Arlington is accepting sealed bids for a 1976 I.H. Dump Truck (Model: 1650 Loadstar).  Mileage: 119,901.  Additional Information: Manual Transmission, Diesel Fuel, 14’ dump box.  The Truck has clutch and transmission problems and is being sold “as is”.  The truck is currently inoperable and the bid winner will be responsible for removing the truck on their own.

Bidders may view the vehicle in person at the City Hall Parking lot, 204 Shamrock Drive or on the City’s website at www.arlingtonmn.com.  Bids should be labeled as “Vehicle Bid” and should be sent to:  City of Arlington, Attn: City Administrator, 204 Shamrock Drive, Arlington, MN 55307.  Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 29th.  Bids will be opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. on the 29th in the Council Chambers, 204 Shamrock Drive, and will be presented at the City Council meeting on Monday, August 2nd at 6:30 p.m. for bid acceptance.  The bid winners will be responsible for all filing and recording fees.  The bidder should include their name, bid offer, and contact information.  All bids must be signed by the individual.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason.  Questions?  Contact City Hall at (507) 964-2378.

FOR SALE

The City of Arlington is currently selling 9 pallets of brick paver blocks.  There are 8 pallets of 4 ½” x 4 ½” square blocks and 1 pallet of 2 ½” x 4 ½” rectangle blocks.  Pallet costs vary from $72 to $120/pallet depending on the number of blocks per pallet.  Pallets will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis.  Potential buyers may view the blocks in person at the City Hall Parking lot, 204 Shamrock Drive or on the City’s website at www.arlingtonmn.com.  Blocks can be purchased at City Hall.  Contact City Hall with any questions at (507) 964-2378.
